Centre County is a unique place. We live, shop, eat, and play in beautiful central Pennsylvania. In celebration of our great communities, the Centre Daily Times is presenting Centre County Favorites in 2026. This contest is truly designed to engage the community in celebrating the places, restaurants and local businesses we love.

Last year, more than 1,700 businesses, organizations, and individuals competed across 196 categories, with the community casting over 108,000 votes — an impressive 68% increase from last year. This remarkable growth is a true testament to the pride and loyalty Centre County residents have for their local favorites.

During the nomination period, we invite our audience to nominate outstanding establishments and professionals in Centre County and the surrounding areas. Once our nominations are taken, we will move them to a ballot for official voting. All nominations and voting will be done online at VoteCentreCounty.com.
